17.04.2026 : Zangeres Luca Warmer brengt op 1 november samen met Lucas Meijers een deel uit haar programma 'Je suis Zorro'. In dit programma zie je een Luca pur sang: een vat vol verbeelding en muzikaliteit, een stemkunstenaar die liever een eigenzinnig spoor nalaat, dan over de gebaande paden te reizen.
English follows the Dutch text Zorro is een acrobaat. Hij rent over daken, springt van ijzingwekkende hoogtes naar beneden om altijd zonder kleerscheuren op de grond te landen. En dat is precies wat Luca doet met haar stem en haar kwetsbare aanwezigheid in deze intieme voorstelling. Daarin kun je betoverende loopjes afgewisseld met muzikale composities verwachten. Het programma zit vol pop, maar ook klassiek, wereldse klanken, een vleugje jazz en spoken-word. Je bent getuige van een persoonlijke reflectie, een reis door Luca’s leven, vol tragikomische anekdotes en onderweg ontvouwt zich het antwoord: de held zit in jezelf – daar waar maskers vallen.

Luca won in 2021 De Mingus Prijs voor beste compositie als aanstormend talent en is met lof afgestudeerd aan de Jazz-afdeling van het Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. Haar debuutvoorstelling ‘Appelstroop met Tranen’, over de rouw en afscheid nemen, werd lovend ontvangen. Dit resulteerde onder meer in een uitnodiging van Theater Mascini om gastcurator te worden van – zoals ze het zelf noemde – 'Luca's Lab': een maandelijkse productie in het seizoen 2022/2023. De afgelopen tijd was Luca te zien in de theaters met ‘Oh My Jazz’: een ode aan haar jazzheldinnen.

Zorro is an acrobat. He runs across rooftops, jumps down from dizzying heights, only to always land on the ground unscathed. And that is exactly what Luca does with her voice and her vulnerable presence in this intimate performance. In it, you can expect enchanting runs interspersed with musical compositions. The program is full of pop, but also classical, worldly sounds, a touch of jazz, and spoken word. You are witnessing a personal reflection, a journey through Luca’s life, full of tragicomic anecdotes, and along the way the answer unfolds: the hero lies within yourself – where masks fall.

About Luca Warmer
In 2021, Luca won the Mingus Prize for best composition as an emerging talent and graduated with honors from the Jazz department of the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Her debut performance ‘Appelstroop met Tranen’ (Apple Syrup with Tears), about grief and saying goodbye, was received with acclaim. This resulted, among other things, in an invitation from Theater Mascini to become guest curator of – as she called it herself – 'Luca's Lab': a monthly production in the 2022/2023 season. Recently, Luca could be seen in theaters with ‘Oh My Jazz’: an ode to her jazz heroines.
