Netcongestie - op de wachtlijst voor verzwaring! / Grid congestion - on the waiting list for upgrades!

06.06.2026 : Netbeheerder Liander heeft aangekondigd dat netcongestie in Zuid-Holland zo hoog is opgelopen dat aanvragen van consumenten voor verzwaring van hun elektrische aansluiting vanaf 1 juli op een wachtlijst komen.

Er is gewoon niet genoeg vrije capaciteit over op het elektriciteitsnet, de vraag is hoger dan Liander kan verwerken. Dit betekent voor Leiden: aanvragen voor verzwaring van de netaansluiting naar 3*25A komen op de wachtlijst.
Waar je regelmatig 3*25A voor nodig hebt:

full electric warmtepomp
laadpunt voor elektrische auto
inductiekookplaat - samen met warmtepomp

Een hybride warmtepomp is heel goed mogelijk
Technisch gesproken: om helemaal compleet van het gas af te gaan is het aan te raden een 3*25A netaansluiting te hebben. Heeft jouw woning niet zo'n aansluiting, dan wordt het binnenkort lastig om snel verzwaring te krijgen. Wat altijd mogelijk is, is een hybride warmtepomp. In hartje winter, als het vriest, doet de cv-component het verwarmingswerk; in voor- en najaar de warmtepomp-component. Heet water wordt verzorgd door de cv-ketel. Voor een hybride warmtepomp kan men volstaan met een 1*35A aansluiting. Zelfs een bescheiden inductiekookplaat kan er dan nog bij. En met een paar zonnepanelen op het dak als sluitstuk ben je spekkoper.

Grid congestion - on the waiting list!
Grid operator Liander has announced that grid congestion in South Holland has reached such a high level that consumer applications for upgrading their electrical connection will be placed on a waiting list starting July 1st. There simply isn't enough free capacity left on the electricity grid; demand is higher than Liander can handle.
For Leiden, this means: applications to upgrade the grid connection to 3*25A will be placed on the waiting list.

What you regularly need 3*25A for:

full electric heat pump
charging point for electric car
induction hob - together with a heat pump

A hybrid heat pump is entirely possible.
Technically speaking: to go completely off gas, it is advisable to have a 3*25A grid connection. If your home does not have such a connection, it will soon become difficult to get an upgrade quickly. What is always possible is a hybrid heat pump. In the middle of winter, when it is freezing, the central heating component does the heating work; in spring and autumn, the heat pump component. Hot water is provided by the central heating boiler. For a hybrid heat pump, a 1*35A connection is sufficient. Even a modest induction hob can be added. And with a few solar panels on the roof as the finishing touch, you hit the jackpot.
