02.04.2026 : Na eerder succes bij Kunst over de Vloer brengen Jobine Siekman (cello) en Ellyne Wieringa (piano) weer een prachtig cello-pianoprogramma. Dit keer duiken zij in twee monumentale sonates uit het cello-pianorepertoire: Beethoven's derde sonate en Shostakovich. English follows the Dutch text
In het hart van het concert spelen zij bovendien het betoverende 'Nuit Calme' van de Nederlandse componist Henriette Bosmans.
Het duo Siekman-Wieringa bestaat sinds 2022. Zij speelden al eerder in verschillende steden in Nederland en verzorgden concerten, zowel in intiemere sferen als in grotere muziekzalen. Het duo heeft onder andere gespeeld in het Rietveld Theater in Delft, Classic Concerts Zandvoort en Theater Ludens in Voorburg.
In 2023 kregen ze, als onderdeel van The Harmotion Collective, een eervolle vermelding tijdens het Goodmesh Concours voor een interdisciplinaire uitvoering met muziek, dans en film/fotografie.
Monumental Sonatas by Jobine Siekman and Ellyne Wieringa
Following previous success at Kunst over de Vloer, Jobine Siekman (cello) and Ellyne Wieringa (piano) are once again presenting a beautiful cello-piano program. This time, they delve into two monumental sonatas from the cello-piano repertoire: Beethoven's Third Sonata and Shostakovich. In the heart of the concert, they will also perform the enchanting 'Nuit Calme' by the Dutch composer Henriette Bosmans.
The Siekman-Wieringa duo has existed since 2022. They have previously performed in various cities in the Netherlands and given concerts in both more intimate settings and larger music venues. The duo has performed at the Rietveld Theater in Delft, Classic Concerts Zandvoort, and Theater Ludens in Voorburg, among others. In 2023, as part of The Harmotion Collective, they received an honorable mention at the Goodmesh Concours for an interdisciplinary performance featuring music, dance, and film/photography.
