25.02.2026 : Op 17 maart 1943 werden de kinderen en het personeel van het Joods Weeshuis aan de Roodenburgerstraat weggevoerd naar Westerbork. Bijna allen vonden kort daarna de dood. Op dinsdag 17 maart wordt dit herdacht ter plaatse van het voormalig Joodse Weeshuis.English follows the Dutch text
De herdenking is een gezamenlijke organisatie met de wijkvereniging Professoren- en Burgermeesterswijk, de Josephschool en onze stichting.

Commemoration of the deportation of children and staff from the Jewish Orphanage
On March 17, 1943, the children and staff of the Jewish Orphanage on Roodenburgerstraat were deported to Westerbork. Almost all of them died shortly afterward.
This commemoration will be held at the site of the former Jewish Orphanage.
The commemoration is being organized jointly by the Professoren- en Burgermeesterswijk Neighborhood Association, the Joseph School, and our foundation.
