Dwaallicht – ervaringstocht in de schemer / Will-o'-the-wisps – a twilight experience
11.09.2025 : Op zaterdag 27 september organiseert Stichting Mooi Matilo een bijzondere ervaringstocht in de schemer door Park Matilo in Leiden. English follows the Dutch text
Wandel langs verhalenvertellers en muzikanten, Romeinen en kloosterzusters, vervlogen en komende tijden, maar pas op voor de dwaallichtjes!
Ontdek Park Matilo eens op een heel andere manier, in het donker, maar vol verrassende optredens en ervaringen. Wandel met een groepje mede-dwalers van Romeinse muziek naar een spannend verhaal, van een smid naar een wijnboer, oefen speerwerpen in het donker en ontdek de invloed van de planeten bij de Romeinse astroloog. Maar pas op dat de dwaallichtjes je niet van het juiste pad af lokken!

Will-o'-the-wisps – a twilight experience
On Saturday, September 27th, the Mooi Matilo Foundation is organizing a unique twilight experience through Park Matilo in Leiden. Stroll past storytellers and musicians, Romans and nuns, times past and times to come, but beware of the will-o'-the-wisps!
Discover Park Matilo in a completely different way, in the dark, but full of surprising performances and experiences. Walk with a group of fellow wanderers from Roman music to a thrilling story, from a blacksmith to a winegrower, practice javelin throwing in the dark, and discover the influence of the planets with a Roman astrologer. But beware that the will-o'-the-wisps lure you off the path!
